Harvest Festival and School Photographs update

Published: 5th October 2020

Dear parents

This week we have our Harvest Festival on Tuesday and school photographs on Thursday.

Tomorrow all the children will be walking to church with their class pod to celebrate our Harvest Festival.  I am sorry that parents are not able to attend this year but we will make sure the photographs are on the website so you can see what we have been up to.  Each class has written a prayer and created some artwork on a harvest theme to take to church with them.  They will be met by Father Chris or the Curate, Cate, who will do a short harvest talk for each class..  The children will sanitise their hands before and after their and all touch points in church will be cleaned between pods.  We have re-organised the adults in school to ensure that all classes have a safe number of adults to walk to the church and back again.

As part of our harvest celebrations we are collecting packets and tins of food for the Norwich Food Bank.   Please bring your donations to school this week.  We will keep items in quarantine for at least 72 hours before taking them to the food bank next week.  Classes will be taking a few items to church with them as a symbol of the donation we are making.

School photographs will take place on Thursday. This has been carefully risk assessed in line with our school policy and the Norfolk and national guidelines.  The risk assessment is attached to this e-mail and is available on the website.  Smart school uniform please!  Due to the COVID restrictions we are not able to offer photographs for younger siblings or families on Thursday.  We are working to see if there is a way to offer this on a Saturday – please let us know if this would be of interest.

Thank you for your continued support

Best Wishes

Rosie Welch
