Clubs are an important part of our curriculum at Aplington. We offer a wide range of sporting, music and other clubs that support and promote children’s fitness, wellbeing, talents and personal development. We aim for these clubs to be accessible to all.
Below are the clubs that are running at school at the moment, but these change regularly to meet the needs and interests of the children.
Children in Ks2 run their own lunchtime clubs tailored to their own fascinations and interests. At the moment we have Drama Club, Performing Arts Club and Little One’s club, run by children in year 5 and 6 for KS1. We also have Cat Drawing Club, Creative Club, Computer Club, Animation Club and Colouring Club all run by KS2 children. These change on a termly basis, with the opportunity in the summer term for children to run sports clubs outside.
