Choir at the Norfolk Show

We took the whole of KS2 to sing at the Norfolk Show. The choir sounded amazing, despite the downpour, and their singing attracted quite an audience. Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to come and support us. We are really proud of our choir. The way that Mrs Cork works with them forms an essential part of our music curriculum, including learning the features of different genres of music, technical vocabulary, the musical structure of song and harmonisation. The thing that sets our choir apart from other schools is the expectation that all children in KS2 take part in choir each week and perform as part of the group. Well done to all – our Alpington light shone really brightly!
