With our bags packed and excitement mounting, we boarded the bus for the Horstead Centre. Once there we did Geocaching, Crate Stacking, Bushcraft, Camp Cookery, Canoeing and Raft Building. The year 5s and 6s had the most wonderful time filled with adventure and every child gave each activity a go and loved it along the way. After toasting marshmallows and a singalong by the campfire on the last night, it was clear to see how much fun everyone had experienced during their exciting (and exhausting!) days together.

 

The children were amazing, with brilliant acting and singing performances all round.  Well done to all.

 

In reception the children dressed up in nativity costume and sang songs as part of a retelling of the Christmas story.  They then did a range of Christmas activities alongside their adults. Thank you to everyone for coming along to support them.
