Alpington and Bergh Apton CA VA Primary school is a warm, caring and friendly school for children aged 4 – 11. We welcome children and their families from local villages and from the wider South Norfolk area. The school has 20 places in each year group, with children taught in 5 mixed age classes.

Our vision for our school is “Let every light shine”. The children enjoy school and can flourish in an environment that is full of creativity, kindness and opportunity.

Harvest Festival – Revised Date, now Wed. 15th

Due to other commitments we have moved Harvest Festival from the Thursday 16th to Wednesday 15th October.  Each class will visit the church to take part in activities around Harvest and healthy food, both for ourselves and others in our community and the wider world.  Donations of packets and tins will go to the Salvation Army for distribution to those who need it, as part of a wider collection through the church congregation.  Please bring your donation to school on the morning of the 15th – please check use by dates carefully!

Year 6 Parents Code Breaking, Hobart High Thurs. 16th

Your child has been given a form to take home re Code Breaking at Hobart High.  Can you please complete and return in readiness for their trip to Hobart High School on Thursday 16 Oct.  Children need to arrive at school 8.30am to be ready to board the coach at 8.45am.  The coach will then return the children back to school in time for lunch.  Please provide a drink and snack.  A member of staff will accompany the children.

Please notify us if you do not give consent for your child to have their photograph taken.

Year 2 Parents – pedestrian training, Fri 17th

On Friday 17th October, Sarah McCluskey, Road Safety Advisor, will be delivering pedestrian training to all the Year 2 children.  The children will be split into small groups and the sessions will involve crossing roads local to the school.  We need a few volunteers to help run this.  Please complete the form to inform us if you are able to help and to acknowledge your child will be taking part.

We now have Preloved uniform sales online, where you can easily select your items and pay securely on the website. Your items will be ready to collect from reception the very next day. Please continue to donate your outgrown (logoed) items via the bin in reception.
