Thursday 5th March was World Book Day. The children came into school dressed as their favourite character from a book and there was a special assembly to share their costumes with the school. Parents came in to read to groups of children and at the end of the day all the teachers read an extract from one of their favourite books and the children went to listen to the one which appealed most to them. It was a great day and all part of our constant drive to encourage the children to love books and reading.
